Why you need a vehicle maintenance schedule
As with any machinery, your automobile requires servicing at the right time. This is why every automobile has a Vehicle Maintenance Schedule which lays down the time table for maintenance checks on different parts of the vehicle.

Take an oil change for example. Without a schedule you will not know when this needs to be done! Your Vehicle Maintenance Schedule may require you to make an oil change every three months or every 3000 miles. The standard spark plugs in your car need to be serviced every year and the transmission fluids need to be looked into every 20,000 kilometers. The coolant needs to be changed every two years. All this will be specified in your car’s Vehicle Maintenance Schedule and without this strict regimen on when a part needs to be serviced, you won’t know the time a part is getting worn out and therefore need to be checked out or replaced!

Every part of a car needs to function properly for your car to give you the kind of performance you expect on the road, whatever be the make and model of your car. In a worst case scenario, an unchecked part can cause damages or lead to a road accident when driving because it cannot function properly.

Following your vehicle maintenance schedule with regard to check ups on car parts can help you have a car that is in good condition and one that causes fewer repairs down the road. Your automobile repair shop will give have a maintenance schedule and you will be notified on when to bring in your car for repairs. Be sure to keep to this schedule so that you have a car that gives you top performance for many years to come.
